Thomas Paul Quiz 2009

The physics and electronics club of Loyola School alongwith chemistry club conducted the Thomas Paul Memorial Science Quiz on Friday, 18th September 2009.

The quiz is held every year in the memory of Thomas Paul, the most impressionable teacher Loyola School has ever seen. As an Alumnus Thomas Paul joined Loyola School in the year 1984 as a Physics & Mathematics teacher of +2. His tragic demise in a road accident was a great loss to the school. Inspired by his dedication to Science and Teaching this quiz is in his name, which continues even today…

Students from 14 school participated. From the prelims 4 schools made it to the finals. The quiz master for the day was Mr. Lloyd Saldhana from Pick Brain Inc.

The quiz provided students with a platform to not only showcase their talent but also an oppertunity to find out if the students were really gearing up to face the challanges of tomorrow.

RESULTS
WINNER : RAJENDRA VIDYALAYA
1st RUNNER : LOYOLA SCHOOL
2nd RUNNER : CARMEL JUNIOR COLLEGE
